This two-story house is located in the heart of Lichtenhain – ideal for hiking enthusiasts. Your room is upstairs. The room and bathroom are for your exclusive use. You might encounter other guests or the owners in the hallway. A small terrace with a grill and seating is available for all guests. You can leave your car parked, as beautiful hiking trails begin right outside the door. After an idyllic 30-minute walk, you'll reach the Kirnitzsch Valley – a perfect starting point for many more hikes.
The environment
The accommodation is located in Lichtenhain, an idyllic village in the heart of Saxon Switzerland. Nearby, you'll find a small village shop and a cozy café serving homemade cakes and ice cream. The village also boasts a bowling alley with an attached restaurant. From the accommodation, you can start your hikes directly. In just about 30 minutes, you can reach the Kirnitzsch Valley and the Lichtenhain Waterfall – an ideal starting point for numerous hiking trails or exciting via ferratas like the Häntzschelstiege. The world-famous Bastei rock formation is also about a 30-minute drive away.
Thanks to the bus stop in the village, you can easily get around even without a car and conveniently reach Sebnitz or Bad Schandau. Shopping facilities can be found in nearby Sebnitz (e.g., Aldi at the entrance to the village, about a 5-minute drive). Bad Schandau is about 10 minutes away and Sebnitz about 7 minutes away.

As Sebnitz is a spa town, a visitor's tax must be paid in cash upon arrival. This can simply be left as a deposit upon departure. It amounts to €2.50 (€2.00 reduced rate) per person per night. Further information is available on site.
